MUMBAI: The vicious cycle continues. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone has fallen victim to the gruelling effects of coronavirus. The sad part? Deepika’s whole family is going through this ferocious ordeal together.
The upsetting announcement has not yet officially been shared by the 35-year-old star on any of her social media accounts. However the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) took upon itself to reveal Deepika’s current condition:
“Deepika Padukone has tested positive for Covid-19. Get well soon, Deepika!” IIFA’s announcement. Deepika is spending her ‘Corona inflicted’ time period in Bangalore along with her loved ones.
Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone was admitted to a hospital due to a very high fever complaint. Deepika’s mother Ujjala Padukone and sister Anisha have also contracted the disease of the moment: Covid-19. A highly strenuous time for the Padukone family.
