CAA asks passengers to reach airport 4 hours before flight

ISLAMABAD: In order to cope with the great rush at Islamabad International Airport, the Civil Aviation Authority has decided to ask the international passengers to arrive at the airport four hours before their departure time.

The Civil Aviation Authority has to deal with a great blast of passengers at the Islamabad airport. It has asked the international passengers to reach their respective airport terminals at least four hours before their departure.

The aviation authority has also directed the passengers who want to fly to Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi to arrive at the airport 5 hours before their flight.

It asked the authorities to not issue the test reports of passengers who intend to fly to Emirates simultaneously. When a passenger gets his test report and reaches boarding area, he has to follow 30 steps directed by the CAA.

Airport Manager Adnan Khan said that any airline before closing its counter would make an official announcement in this regard.

He further informed that in order to deal with the passengers’ rush and for their facility, the airport authority would increase the ASF workforce for the security check. The ASF would do the security check of the international passengers under quick response.
