Flavourful, rich, and spicy is the most common thing we call good food. Many people love to have spiciness in their meals, the most important ingredient to make any dish into a fiery one, is chilies.

Chilies can be of various types and can easily elevate any dish by adding bold and hot flavors to them. Types of jalapenos, cayenne, Thai chili, green chili, etc commonly used in cooking. They are versatile and can be used in a variety of things. The list includes marinades, oils, pickles, and whatnot. Try these recipes at home to give your palette a spicy surprise!

Pickled chilies
Take a pan and add half a cup of white vinegar, a half cup of water, 2 tsp salt, and ? cup of sugar. Now, take a jar, place 500 grams of sliced chilies and 2 bay leaves. Pour this vinegar mixture on top of the chilies. Close the jar tightly and let it cool at room temperature then refrigerate the chilies.

Chilli Paste

Simply take 7-8 dry red chilies, a few cloves of garlic, 2 medium-sized tomatoes, 2 tbsp salt, and 2 tbsp water. Now, blend these ingredients for a minute or two to make a paste. Now heat some oil in a pan and add this paste to the pan. Cook on high heat for a few minutes. Ready!

Stuffed Chillies

For this, you need to take 100 grams of diced chorizo and fry it in a pan without oil. Then mix it with 120 grams of soft cheese, 3 chopped spring onions, 1 tsp lime juice, 1 crushed garlic, and 2 tbsp chopped coriander. Take few red chilies and slice them in a standing way from the middle. Scoop out the seeds and place the prepared stuffing along with some grated cheddar cheese. Bake these chilies for 20 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.
