Pakistan announces Hajj flight operation from May 21

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Religious Affairs announced the schedule of Hajj flights of the government scheme, on Tuesday.

The Religious Affairs spokespersons said that the pilgrims of the government schemes join the Haji camps according to the given schedule as they will get the vaccines and essential medicines packed there.

The spokesperson said the first Hajj flights from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi will depart on May 21 while the first Hajj flight will depart from Sialkot on May 22, Multan on May 23, and Quetta on May 24.

The first Hajj flight from Rahim Yar Khan will depart on June 6 and from Sukkur on June 7. As per the schedule, the last Hajj flights will depart on June 20 while return flights will start on July 4 after Hajj.

Ministry of Religious Affairs’ spokesperson said passports, tickets, visas, and ID lockets will be provided from the Haji camps 24 hours before the flight.

The spokesperson also said that the vaccination against meningitis, flu and polio will start from tomorrow (May 17) in Haji camps while in collaboration with the Ministry, NCOC has established free corona vaccine counters in Haji camps.
