Travel chaos at UK airport: PIA puts off flight op

F.P. Report

MANCHESTER: The PIA has put off flight operations at Birmingham and Manchester airports as the four-day weekend to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee sparked travel chaos, on Friday.

The PK795 will now leave Islamabad for Birmingham on Monday and the national airline was transferring passenger bookings on Monday.

Passengers are caught in the mess and hundreds of meters long queues at Manchester and Birmingham airports are being witnessed.

Frustrated passengers took to Twitter to demand action from airport staff.
