Best Pan Asian Restaurants in Karachi

Monitoring Desk

KARACHI: With everything back in lock down all of us are surely feeling a little glum. Why not fix that with a little comfort food, such as some nice warm dumplings or a delicious noodle soup, maybe fancy it up a little with some sushi or go the classic Pad Thai route?

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to Pan Asian food, not to mention so many places to choose from. We’ve sifted through for some of our favorites to get you started.

Suzie Wong

A classic in the local Chinese scene, Suzi Wong has continued to serve some of the most delicious food for years. Their lobster in butter is a must have!

An award winning restaurant, Dynasty boasts authentic Chinese cuisine. If you’re looking for real Chinese comfort food that has been elevated then this is the place for you.

Sushi, sushi and more sushi. Sakura is arguably the best sushi restaurant in the entire city and has one of the widest selections to choose from.

A cute and eccentric Japanese themed eatery in Khadda Market, Yoshi’s is one of the most fun places to dine in at. However, the food is so good that even if can’t sit inside, you must order in. Try their dumplings, as they are to die for!

Wang Wang

Even if you haven’t heard of Wang Wang yet, we’re sure you’ve seen an Instagram story of a hotpot on literally all of your friends, family and acquaintances’ accounts. While the hype is real, it happens to be for good reason, since Wang Wang serves a mean hotpot!

Tao has been around for quite some time, and we have to say, while loads of new places have cropped up since no one does dynamite prawns quite like them! Just for that we recommend you check them out, and while you’re at it try any of their mains and you won’t be disappointed.

Another Japanese themed Asian restaurant, Miyako is a great place to get sushi and comfort food at great prices. The food there is delicious and won’t break the bank like some of the pricier restaurants on this list!

Chop Chop Wok

Every Karachiite has once (read far too many to count) times in their life been to Chop Chop Wok. Known for its “make your own wok” theme the eatery continues to be a favourite of the youth of the city for its large servings and reasonable prices. Fun fact, their Crispy California Roll sushi is actually one of the nicest in the city.
