Our Guide to Breakfast & Brunch

Monitoring Desk

As hot-vax summer rolls in, things are finally looking up for Karachi’s eating out scene. With so many of us rapidly becoming vaccinated, eateries are opening up and welcoming diners across the city and just like you, we couldn’t be happier about it!

Now that everything is slowly reeling towards normal it’s important that we to make the most of what our lovely city has to offer and what better way to start than with arguably the holy grail of meals, brunch! With that being said, where should one go for a great breakfast or brunch!

Chatterbox Deli

A quaint spot, the Chatterbox Deli is the perfect spot for a slow morning. Come in and have a relaxing breakfast, with the most exquisite omelettes and a wide range of pastries made by local home chefs. This place is perfect for early risers with breakfast opening as early as 8.30 in the morning.

Côtie Rôtie

Looking for a little French escape? Then this is the place for you. Located inside the Alliance Francaise, the bistro offers an environmentally conscious and overall delicious breakfast between 9 am and 12 pm. A small gem that you just can’t miss out on!

Loco

Not only does this place have a selection of amazing food, it also happens to be one of the most Instagramable restaurants in the whole city. While the eatery stops serving its breakfast menu by 12.30 pm, it’s worth the early wake-up call because the menu is divine. So set an alarm and don’t miss out!

Coco 9

The name Coco 9 has become synonymous with Japanese pancakes at this point, but what most people don’t know is that their French toast is off-the-charts! They also happen to the ideal place to pick a to-go breakfast on your way to work.

Easy

Easy has become a staple when it comes to brunch in Karachi. Their menu is a wildcard experience offering burgers with eggs, pancakes and cheesecakes. Offered only on Sundays between 11.30 am and 4 pm getting a table might not be the easiest task, but very worth it if you succeed.

Test Kitchen by Okra

Ideal for brunch, Test Kitchen opens at 12 pm on weekdays and 11.30 am on the weekends. Your whole experience starts with the heavenly smell of the made from scratch food and gets even better when you get to taste literally anything they have to offer! A plus side of the space is that the staff is super friendly and they ensure a generally courteous environment in the café.
