Microsoft announced on Tuesday, March 9, it had completed its acquisition of Zenimax Media, the parent company of a number of game studios including Bethesda Softworks.

Phil Spencer, Microsoft’s head of Xbox, confirmed in a blog post announcing the completion of the acquisition that some titles under the Bethesda banner may end up being exclusives for the Xbox console platform and the PC.

“With the addition of the Bethesda creative teams, gamers should know that Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass will be the best place to experience new Bethesda games, including some new titles in the future that will be exclusive to Xbox and PC players,” Spencer said.
